Double Sixteen Slots

Being more fun than it has any right to be, Double Sixteen Slots is a peppy little classic slot game that has a lot of heart and makes the most of what started slots out as a genre. If you ever wanted to play two slots at once, this game is for you. It has clean and crisp graphics as well as fast paced gameplay and an odd sense of charm given how minimalistic it is. We thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent with it, mostly wishing that they’d added in some more bonus features or done more to elevate it to the level of classic. That said, it’s still a wonderful game, and we had a lot of fun. Didn’t think we would, but it’s way more fun than it looks!

Premise

Being bold in its presentation, the premise of Double Sixteen Slots is classic slots come back to pad out your wallet! There’s something to be said for a slot that knows it’s a slot and doesn’t try to fool you into thinking you’re going on an adventure or dazzle you with pictures of elves. It looks like the modern version of the classic Vegas Strip game in digital form for you to enjoy anywhere you are and whenever you’d like.

Presentation

We think Graphics in Double Sixteen Slots are pretty good, albeit limited. Everything is crisp, clear, colorful, and compelling to look at, which makes your time spent playing all the easier because of how easy they are on the eyes. The colors in particular pop, and it all has a ‘fun’ feel to it because of the nice saturated colors and flashing lights. If you have issues with strobe lights you may have an issue here, but for most people that survived Pokemon, you should be fine.

The lights that flash and move are all a really nice touch we wish more slots would use. Static graphics are nice, but the little blinks, bips, and boops, as well as the audio, make it all come alive for us in ways most slots don’t offer.

Mechanics

As you can see from the screenshots, you’re basically playing two slots at once, which is part of the charm. For the most part, gameplay in Double Sixteen Slots is great. At 8 reels and 32 pay lines, it’s very inventive.

Betting here starts at a penny, making this an accessible slot that anyone can jump into in hopes of winning a lot of money without worrying about necessarily breaking the bank in the process. Max bets cap out low, which tends to be how we rolled when we played it a bunch for our review. This is how slots used to play, and we’re fine with it. It’s a lot of fun and allows for long play sessions.

Is it Buggy?

In the time we spent playing this game, we did not encounter any bugs, problems, or errors. The same cannot be said for all slots of this genre, so we commend the developers for a job well done on that. We also encountered no issues in processing winnings or payments, and everything ran very smooth just like you would expect across many varied devices in a variety of ecosystems and operating systems.

Conclusion

Double Sixteen Slots is a great modern version of what got us all into slots in Vegas way back when. It doesn’t do anything too new, but it does everything it does very well and makes you love every minute of it by letting you play two normal slots at once. There isn’t much to fault here, save for if you’re looking for something a bit more complicated. To that we say meh! We like this game. It’s simple, fun, shiny, and we’re now richer for having played it.

If you’d like to feel like us, spend some quality time with Double Sixteen Slots. You won’t regret it, and will walk away with a fat wallet.
