The Swordsman uses his sword to lay a trail of wilds either up or down from wherever he lands. The Shieldmaiden, meanwhile, lays a trail of wilds either to the right or the left of where she appears.
You might also see a dedicated wild icon, appearing as ‘wild’, in front of a red mist.

If you manage to find both the Swordsman and the Shieldmaiden on the reels together, and the beams they send out cross each other, you will win 10 free games. These games can be triggered a second time from within the first set, too.
