Pinocchio Slots is a great looking filmic game that plays on the classic theme in the now classic Disney version of it and works well in the process. Everything is well executed, production values are through the roof, and we find ourselves hard pressed to fault much about the experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent with it, mostly wishing that they had taken the time to integrate all of the reels a little more. Still, it’s the most minor of criticisms, and we feel bad even saying that.
If you love great slots, you’ll love this game. Skip this review and jump right in. If not, read on and we’ll convince you!
Premise
The premise of Pinocchio Slots is the old fairy tale. Not the real tale, mind you, as that was a book written about how kids are horrible and ends with Pinocchio being burned and hung. Not a lot of people know that because the Disney version took over, but that was the original story. Surprised? We were when we read the original too!
This game is thankfully based on the friendlier Disney version of the character, as the original would be a grim tale indeed.
Presentation
Graphics in Pinocchio Slots are amazing. Everything is crisp, clear, colorful, and compelling to look at, which makes your time spent playing all the easier because of how easy they are on the eyes. It’s ripped from a feature film, with not a pixel out of place, and 3d rendering fit for the silver screen. Even the suits of cards show a lot of thought and effort put into them, as does the logo and UI. It’s a pretty game all around and we can’t think of a thing to change about that, aside from maybe making the toy maker a little more flattering looking because we feel for the guy. He just wanted a kid, and now he’s old and all alone!
Mechanics
Gameplay in Pinocchio Slots is great, but nothing you haven’t seen before. At 5 reels and 15 pay lines, it does not break the mold there, chosing instead to keep things classy in ways we can respect.
Betting here ranges from a couple of pennies to $1, making this an accessible slot that anyone can jump into in hopes of winning a lot of money without worrying about necessarily breaking the bank in the process. Max bets cap out at $75, which tends to be how we rolled when we played it a bunch for our review.
The bonus round is called Real Boy Mode, which is creepy to say but plays pretty well. Nothing to impress you, but you’ll win more money and we appreciate it.

Who is this Game For?
This game is suitable for players of all types. In particular, it should appeal to:
* Players new to digital slots and looking for something relatively accessible
* Moderate intensity players that have gotten their feet plenty wet in the online slots world and are looking for something a little more involved
* Jaded slot vets
* People that mostly want to win a bunch of money playing digital slot games
* Players looking for slot nostalgia for the similarities and differences this slot has to other games
* People more used to normal video games that are looking to get their feet wet in the world of online slots
Who is the Game NOT For?
Although we enjoy this slot, it is not for everybody. In particular, it may not be your cup of tea if this describes you in any fashion:
* Averse to winning money online
* Looking for something truly innovative in the genre
* You find the theme in any way offputting
Is it Buggy?
In the time we spent playing this game, we did not encounter any bugs, problems, or errors. The same cannot be said for all slots of this genre, so we commend the developers for a job well done on that. We also encountered no issues in processing winnings or payments, and everything ran very smooth just like you would expect across many varied devices in a variety of ecosystems and operating systems.
Conclusion
Pinocchio Slots is a game made for everyone that isn’t afraid of dolls. We’re not, and think you shouldn’t be afraid to give this game a try either. It looks great and plays well and pays even better. We’re at a loss for what more could be improved about it, aside from higher betting amounts. If you love the tale and like what you see, don’t hesitate to give this one a go! We recommend it wholeheartedly, even though if we saw a talking doll in real life we’d probably burn it and scream.
