Madder Scientist Slots

He was mad before and now he is madder still, if you believe the title of this sequel coming from the Betsoft stable. The original game was impressive, so this one has plenty to live up to.

It begins by showing you his new and improved lab, where you will see him toiling away. He hasn’t washed his hair since his last outing, but it looks as if he might have had a shock or two!

Reels and lines in play

You get more lines in this sequel, with 30 of them spread over the same five reels.

Bet amounts you can use

You can wager between two cents and 50 cents per coin, and there is still an option to wager as many as five coins per line played.

Madder Scientist special symbols

If you spot three beakers on the reels, you can watch as a Click Me feature begins. This is a great way to get some instant credits… but beware of the collect message, as this will prevent you from choosing more beakers.

You might also be lucky enough to secure three switches in one spin. If this happens, watch as one random reel turns into a wild reel. This then remains where it is as the reels spin several times at random as you play on.

Madder Scientist bonus features

There is an option to pay an additional bet to respin any reel once a spin has completed. You never know whether this will be worth the extra bet or not, so choose wisely.

The game also includes a bonus that is unlocked when you locate three carrots in one spin. Yep, carrots. The scientist intends to experiment on them, and that means you need to help to see if you could win prizes by doing so. Bet you never thought that would be the bonus!

We always did like the original, and we wondered whether this sequel could possibly live up to that. Thankfully it did, and we’re wondering now whether Betsoft could ever go one better with another crack at this character. Maddest Scientist, perhaps? You heard it here first, although at present we’re just hoping. Wouldn’t it be great to add a third game to make a trilogy of slots to remember, though? We’ll keep our eyes peeled for that one.
